Memorial Day, 2009

What a perfect day. I prepped a planting bed on the shady side of the house in the morning, with some help from Isaac while Mama and Ephraim looked on. Then we just sat on the deck for a while while enjoying the world. Later in the day we went to Mike and Melissa’s, where the kids ran wild and we ate yummy foodstuffs. It was quite fun to watch Aine and Isaac figure out how to take turns with the toy car:

Ephraim Not Doing Much

Here is a nice video of Ephraim smiling and cooing for .2 seconds, then not doing much of anything for a while. But we think he’s still cute.

Ephraim, He Coos

The new little one is a talker. I grabbed two minutes of a ten minute soliloquy, which encompassed several bouts of cooing, two spit-ups, and a whole lot of head holding up.

Update 1: Looks my video go boom. I’ll have to re-upload tonight.

Update 2: Fixed.

Marie Visits the Boys

Marie came to visit us this past week and help out while I returned to work. She took over Isaac duty, and the two of them seemed to have a lot of fun getting to know each other:

Awesomely Weird

Japan is chock full of juicy weirdness:
