Meet Ephraim Nathaniel Jamieson

Ephraim exited the Mamaverse on Wednesday March 11, 2009 at 5:19AM, after nine hours of labor. We got to the hospital at 4:00AM, Blossom started pushing at 5:15, and four minutes later out he popped, easy as pie. He weighed 5lbs 9oz and was 19.5 inches long; a wee little man! Alas, he inherited my scrawny physique, and was burning up all his sugar trying to stay warm. So he got some formula supplements and spent some time in the toaster oven the first couple of days. But once he started eating well his temp bounced right up and we came on Friday. We have been working hard on figuring out the routine, which is slightly different with a toddler in the house, and trying to squeeze in as much sleep as possible. But everyone is doing just fine, and I’ll keep up the picture parade as best I can.

    OOOh boy these two are going to be messed up. Brian I loved the second video but you need some sleep.

    Congratulations and mazel tov to both of you. It is great to see such healthy children. I will see you all soon. I love the name Ephraim Nathaniel Jamieson. Little IJ and EJ. Very nice.
