Today Isaac decided that walking was his preferred means of locomotion. It was fascinating to watch; his behavior just up and changed. He’d be sitting on the floor, and instead of crawling he would stand up. What a strange phenom! Something clicked in his brain and now he wanted to stand up and walk instead of crawl, even though the crawling was how he’d been getting around for months. We just sat and watched him for two hours as he walked around the house. No matter where we put him, all he does now is walk.

I watched this video three times marveling at the walking. Oh and I should say that he never really got close to the stairwell, although the camera angle sometimes makes it look like he’s about to fall down the stairs.
