A couple of weekends ago my mom came to visit (that would be the weekend of August 4, 2007). She has decided she would like to be called Mimi, which is apparently what all the cool grandmas are calling themselves these days. That’s just a starting point; once Isaac garbles that up we’ll go with his pronunciation.
I’m trying to think back to all the fun things we did while she was here, and I’m realizing that with the baby there isn’t much fun to be had. Mostly we sat around and fed him and did some work around the house that we’ve put off. Blossom really appreciated more help with the feedings, which mom was happy to provide. And we chatted and cooked a few nice dinners, so all in all it was a nice visit.
