Week 25. 13.5 inches, 1.5 pounds. Apparently Baby’s skin looks less like a walnut’s and more like a newborn’s. And Baby probably has hair (please Lord). Blossom’s been a little itchy, but otherwise is feeling good. Friday night I felt the little monster kick! Baby seems to get active at night, and right before we went to sleep Blossom had me put my hand on her buddha. And it was like somebody flicked me in my palm; a good solid whump. It has been warm fuzzies all around this weekend, really feeling that Baby is alive. Blossom made us delicious French toast this morning, and now it’s off to work. Dog washing, tiling the kitchen backsplash, and taxes are all on today’s agenda, so I must leverage my sugar buzz while it lasts.
