We are up to 11 inches and one pound, with a steadily developing pancreas. Blossom had to hit the maternity store again today to stock up on some PJs, because her normal ones were giving her some squish around the middle. She went for a routine checkup last week and found out that her placenta is growing in the front of her uterus. This may make it longer before she can feel Baby kick, but she has felt a couple of flutters that may have been baby action.
In other news we are thinking about going to a place in Brookline to get some fancy ultrasounds taken. I have been disappointed that we don’t get video of Baby, because in the still photos everything is pretty hard to see. You get a much better sense of what’s going on when they move the view around. So I found this place that does 2, 3, and 4d ultrasounds called Goldenview Ultrasound. For $130 bucks they’ll scare up some video and some freaky looking 3d images of Baby. Creepy yet interesting. So we’ll see.
