I Bailed on Thunderbird

After experimenting with the Thunderbird e-mail client from the folks at Mozilla for 6 months, I bagged it and went back to Outlook. And this was the most painful freaking software process I have been through. What a joke. I had to install a third party tool to convert my Thunderbird mail files to Outlook Express format, and from there import them into Outlook. This took my 6 hours to figure out and accomplish. Bogus! And I only quit Thunderbird because I had too many contacts stored all over the place. I need to have my contacts defined on the PC, and then sync them into my series 60 phone. I’m running Outlook at work and have made that my contact repository of record, so Thunderbird at home was just getting confusing. So now I am soured on the Mozilla experience – nice work.
