So when a guy spends all day at work and all night doing other computer related tasks, his own musings wane. I have no pithy insights or happenings that I wish to preserve for posterity
However I would like to remark on a couple of domestic happenings. My special lady and I have been miserable in our bed that is slightly over a year old. Luckily she checked with the warranty people and they found the mattress defective (it had sagged just enough). So we got full credit for the mattress, and picked out a new one that is twice as expensive. We’ll try that one for a month and if sucks we’ll get one three times as expensive.
I have also finally paid off all of my credit card debt (huzzah!). That was a long perilous road, but I made it through unscathed. Debt! Now that I’m older and less stupid I wonder how our society will survive when everyone in it is encouraged to do nothing but spend money they don’t have. But those thoughts are for another day. Today I bask in putting my credit card payoff money right into a new mattress
